Free and Reduced Lunch

The challenging economy is forcing many area families to make tough choices. Thanks to Fitchburg Public Schools breakfast and lunch programs, sacrificing a meal to save money doesn't have to be one of them

Fitchburg Public Schools offers a breakfast/lunch program to support the health and wellness of students throughout the district, regardless of a family's financial situation. Sodexo works closely with the district on its Free and Reduced Price Meal Program to support students and their families during tough economic times.

The program, which is designed to ensure that students get the nutrition they need to succeed in the classroom, is completely anonymous and available to anyone that qualifies. Even if your financial hardship is short-term due to loss of a job or other circumstances, you can still take advantage of the program on a temporary basis.

We encourage you to learn more about this great program and how it can support your children. If you have any questions about this program or anything related to the student nutrition program at the Fitchburg Public Schools, please feel free to contact your local school office or the Sodexo School Services office at 978-345-3284. All calls are anonymous.

A NEW 2013-14 application must be submitted to continue any previous benefits.  Please return the application even if you think you do not qualify.  Fitchburg receives additional funding for other school programs based on this information. We thank you for your time in completing this application and we appreciate your participation and cooperation.  Please click on the link below to access the 2013-2014 application.
